Christina Hooper
T.A Brown Afterschool Program Coordinator
Christina is a Southern California transplant, and moved to Austin in July 2021. While she has a degree in exercise science from Azusa Pacific University, she has found her career path, working with elementary students. She is a new mom and loves spending time with her 1-year-old son, Mason, her husband, Wyatte, and her dog, Waffle.
She has worked in other non-profit settings as well as overnight summer camps. From camp games, recreational activities, and lifeguarding, to outdoor education, to even homeschooling, Christina has been able to serve hundreds of kids. Christina has always been passionate about seeing God work in kids’ lives and fostering connections with students. She is excited to once again be a part of Side by Side Kids, serving the students of TA Brown.
